Quality control testing at FORNUTRA is applied at every stage — not just at the end. The testing protocol is divided into three phases:
Phase 1 — Incoming Raw Material Testing: Every batch of raw material is quarantined upon arrival and tested before release for production. Testing includes identity confirmation, potency assay, heavy metal screening (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), microbial limit testing, and physical parameters. Materials that fail any parameter are rejected and returned.
Phase 2 — In-Process Testing: During production, we conduct real-time checks at critical control points — blend uniformity, weight variation, hardness and friability, and disintegration time. In-process testing catches deviations early before a full batch is affected.
Phase 3 — Finished Product Testing: Every finished batch undergoes full QC testing before release — potency assay of all labeled active ingredients, heavy metal testing, microbial limit testing, dissolution or disintegration testing, and physical inspection.
Identity, potency, heavy metals (Pb, As, Cd, Hg), microbial limits, physical parameters. Failed materials rejected and returned to supplier.
Blend uniformity during mixing, weight variation during encapsulation/tableting, hardness and friability for tablets, disintegration time checks.
Full potency assay of all labeled actives, heavy metals, microbiology, dissolution/disintegration, and physical inspection for every production batch.
